The heart of our philosophy is free access to genealogy resources for everyone, not just free as in no-cost but also free from jealousies about project affliations and *territorial possessiveness*. FreeGen's county sites will include links to USGenWeb sites, ALHN sites, AHGP sites, RootsWeb county resources, and any other genealogical project unless permission is denied to link to them.

We hope to create a discovery point for the researcher to find any Ohio genealogy resource online whether or not we agree with a particular groups point of view or any individual's behavior.
